“ Cannot be overstated how fantastic the owner Kevin is, was super welcoming and friendly and learned our names quickly, and didn't forget them. The food is decent, affordable diner food, but frankly this might be the most personable service I've ever had, and it's a 5 stars for that reason. ”
“ This place is Amazing. The food is good and great options for both meat lover as well as non meat eater. I had quiche in waffles and love them both. The atmosphere was so welcoming. So much love and community in this space. And KEVIN... word can't begin to describe he ... A Baltimore Jewel. A definite must go to spot. ”
“ The owner Kevin is very sweet, caring, and personable. Music/vibe is right, food is nice and fresh and homemade. Comfortable space. Drop on in! ”
“ I’m so glad I decided to start my day off with breakfast here. I left with a smile and a full stomach. The cornbread waffle did not disappoint and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in Baltimore! ”
“ What a delight to find this place after arriving on the train. The cafe is connected to the MICA gallery which is open 24 hours. The kids loved their cornbread waffles and discovering the excellent graduate art installations. Thank you Kevin - we’ll be back! And if you search for this place on Apple Maps, it says permanently closed. I’m glad I called ahead to verify. ”
“ The man running this cafe was incredibly friendly and had a fun vibe. Unsurprisingly the service was great. He answered all our questions enthusiastically and checked back on us after our food came out (above and beyond for this style of cafe) The cafe is attached to the gallery so we enjoyed walking around it while waiting for our food. The food offerings are limited and fairly simple but the prices reflect that. I would not recommend this cafe for coffee either. They only had drip coffee in a beverage dispenser. I hope they can expand that. If you're looking for simple eats at a good price and a cool vibe, this is the place to go. ”
“ This was a really interesting place to pick up a bite. The decor was funky and ecletic, but it all seemed to work well. I'm not sure if this is affiliated with the neighboring MICA. We were there for brunch, so we got the waffle and the SNAC Stack (I believe). Both were pretty great, and the service was good too. ”
“ Places like this this are why I love Baltimore City! The owner, Kevin, sat down and talked with us and the other guests. The food was great, for kids we got the snack Stacks, un-stacked so our picky eaters could have their pancakes, eggs and sausage separately. The art is great and we got to discuss the works over our brunch for a memorable experience. Definitely recommend this place! ”
